Charlie's No-Mayo Tuna Salad
Tuna is rich in omega-3s—the unsaturated 'good' fats—which are crucial for heart health. And, it is one of the easiest ingredients to incorporate into your diet.
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 cup non-fat Italian dressing
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
1/8 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
White pepper, to taste
1 (3-ounce) pouch StarKist Flavor Fresh Pouch® Chunk Light Tuna in oil
1 small Roma tomato, diced
1/4 cup yellow onion, diced
1/4 cup celery, diced
- For Dressing: Combine ingredients for dressing in a large bowl.
- For Salad: Add salad ingredients to the dressing, tossing gently to coat well.
- Refrigerate and enjoy when chilled!
