Orange & Onion Salad
This salad's surprisingly good combination of flavors complements a variety of meals.
3 large navel oranges, peeled and sliced
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Alternate orange slices and onion slices attractiively in serving dish.
- Stir together remaining ingredients well and drizzle over salad. Serve immediately, on a bed of salad greens, if desired.
