Pasta Shells a La Turkey Waldorf
Manicotti pasta shells stuffed with a Waldorf-style turkey salad. This makes a delighful luncheon entrée.
1 pound manicotti shells
4 cups chopped cooked turkey
1 cup chopped apple
1/4 cup chopped celery
4 teaspoons white distilled vinegar
2 teaspoons dillweed
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- Cook manicotti shells according to the package directions; drain.
- In a medium bowl combine cooked chopped, turkey, chopped apple, chopped celery, vinegar, dillweed, and mayonnaise.
- Spoon the filling evenly into each pasta shell. Garnish with chopped walnuts. Cover and chill until served.
Makes 12 to 15 servings.
