Tomato Orange Salad
A simple Italian-style salad of sliced tomatoes and oranges sprinkled with red wine vinaigrette, finely shredded mozzarella and a chiffonade of fresh basil leaves.
Recipe Ingredients:
2 oranges, peeled, thinly sliced
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
1/2 cup bottled red wine vinaigrette
1/2 cup (2 ounces) mozzarella cheese, finely shredded
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
Cooking Directions:
- Arrange oranges and tomatoes in circular pattern on serving plate. Drizzle with dressing. Sprinkle with cheese and basil.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
