Cumin Burgers with Thousand Island Dressing
Complementary Southwestern flavors mingle with a popular salad dressing to make these burgers a real treat.
Recipe Ingredients:
Thousand Island Dressing:
1 (7.6-ounce) can NESTLÉ Media Crema
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon finely chopped pickled jalapeños
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cumin Burgers:
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 1/2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
3 MAGGI Cumin Flavor Seasoning Cubes, crumbled and dissolved in 1 tablespoon hot water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
4 medium hamburger buns, toasted
Suggested Toppings: cheese slices, fresh cilantro, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced avocados
Cooking Directions:
- For Thousand Island Dressing: Combine media crema, mayonnaise, ketchup, vinegar, jalapeños and salt in medium bowl. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
- Cumin Burgers: Place beef in large bowl. Add chopped cilantro, dissolved seasoning cubes, oil, chili powder and garlic powder; mix well. Shape into 4 patties.
- Preheat grill; cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
- Serve hamburgers with Thousand Island dressing and toppings.
