Pork Piccata Sandwiches
A sandwich version of the classic Italian Piccata, these sandwiches borrow the lemon flavor profile that's a satisfying foil to cutlets sautéed in butter.
4 (4-ounce) pork cutlets, 1/4-inch thick
Salt to taste
Lemon pepper to taste
1 tablespoon butter
4 large sandwich buns, split
Lemon wedges for squeezing
- Season cutlets with salt and lemon pepper to taste.
- In a large nonstick skillet, heat butter to sizzling over medium-high heat. Cook cutlets quickly to brown both sides, turning once, about 7 to 8 minutes total.
- Place on buns; serve with lemon wedges.
