Rainy Day Honey Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches
Nothing beats a good barbecue sandwich—except when it takes only minutes to prepare and you do it all in the comfort of indoors. Serve with baked sweet potato fries*.
Recipe Ingredients:
Sauce:
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Sandwich:
4 frozen Tyson® Grilled & Ready™ Whole Breast Fillets
4 thin red onion slices
4 sandwich buns, toasted
4 thin tomato slices
Pickle slices
Cooking Directions:
- For Sauce: In small bowl, mix together all sauce ingredients.
- For Sandwich: Place chicken in microwave safe dish, top with red onion slices and cover with sauce. Follow microwave directions on Grilled & Ready packaging to heat.
- Pile chicken and sauce on bottom half of sandwich bun and top with tomato, pickles and top of sandwich bun.
Makes 4 servings.
*Serving Suggestion: Serve with oven-baked sweet potato fries made by roasting julienned sweet potatoes in the oven at 450°F (230°C) for about 40 minutes.
