Refried Bean and Salsa Sandwiches

No recipe image available.Hot and bubbly right out from under the broiler, these quick to fix open-faced sandwiches are great for lunch.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 (30-ounce) can ORTEGA Refried Beans
1/4 cup sliced green onions
6 thick slices ciabatta or other crusty-style bread, lightly toasted
1 1/2 cups shredded pepper Jack cheese
1 1/2 cups ORTEGA Roasted Garlic and Tomato Salsa

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to broil.
  2. Spread refried beans on toasted ciabatta bread. Sprinkle with onion and cheese.
  3. Broil until heated through and cheese is melted. Spoon salsa over sandwiches or serve on the side.
