Turn your next barbecue into a Southwestern fiesta with these easy, taco-seasoned burgers.
2 pounds 85% lean ground beef
1 (1.25-ounce) package ORTEGA Taco Seasoning Mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese - divided use
8 hamburger buns, split and toasted
ORTEGA Salsa - Homestyle for accompaniment
- Combine beef and seasoning mix in large bowl. Shape into 8 balls. Make a well in center of each; place 2 tablespoons cheese in each well. Enclose the well and flatted into patties.
- Grill or broil for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until no longer pink in center.
- Serve on toasted buns with salsa.
