This turkey version of the classic deli sandwich is broiled until all the flavors meld into a savory delight.
12 slices rye bread
6 tablespoons spoonable Thousand Island dressing
1 1/2 cups sauerkraut
12 ounces cooked turkey, sliced
6 (1-ounce) slices Swiss cheese
- Preheat broiler.
- Top half of the bread slices with salad dressing, sauerkraut, turkey and Swiss cheese. Top with remaining slices of bread. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 6 servings.
