Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry SauceBright and colorful cranberry sauce is traditionally served at festive fall and winter holiday meals.

Recipe Ingredients:

3 cups fresh whole cranberries
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup water

Cooking Directions:

  1. Add cranberries and water to a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add sugar and simmer for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Flavor with lemon zest or toasted walnuts.
  5. Cool completely at room temperature before refrigerating.

Makes 12 servings.
