Lime-Garlic Marinade
A wonderful, low-fat marinade for pork or poultry.
Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried mint, crushed (optional)
Cooking Directions:
- Combine all ingredients. Marinate pork or poultry in refrigerator for 4 to 24 hours.
Makes 1 cup, enough for 2 to 2 1/2-pounds of pork or poultry.
