Tuna and Tortellini Alfresco
Three cheese tortellini pair perfectly with tuna, a trio of minced, fresh green herbs and chopped fresh tomatoes. Surprise your family with this dish seasoned with olive, garlic and balsamic vinegar.
Recipe Ingredients:
1 (9-ounce) package BUITONI® Three Cheese Tortellini, cooked, drained and kept warm
1 large tomato, chopped
1 (2.25-ounce) can sliced ripe olives
1 (6.5-ounce) can white tuna packed in water, drained
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons capers, rinsed
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil or tarragon
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
2 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Cooking Directions:
- Combine pasta, tomato, olives, tuna, oil, vinegar, capers, basil, parsley and garlic in large bowl, season with salt and ground black pepper. Serve warm or cold.
