Grilled Portabello Mushrooms

No recipe image available.Cooking at high heat caramelizes the balsamic vinegar and turns this meaty mushroom into a real winner.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 pound fresh portabello mushrooms
1/8 teaspoon salt
Dash ground black pepper

Cooking Directions:

  1. Mix olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  2. Brush lightly over mushroom surface.
  3. Season with salt and ground black pepper.
  4. Grill, roast or broil until tender and golden brown.

Makes 2 to 3 servings.
